Description This small resort nestles on top of a headland overlooking the dramatic landscape of the Bali Sea. Amed is approximately 3 hours drive from Denpasar Airport and the southern resorts of Kuta and Nusa Dua.
Blue Moon Villa is both a romantic hideaway and a haven to recover from the stresses and strains of a busy life. It can also be the center of great adventure.
The sacred mountains of Agung and Lempuyang provide the backdrop to the beautiful northeast coastline of Bali; and to our beautiful Blue Moon Villas. 3 villas set in a lush tropical garden with a swimming pool that over looks the ocean.
The gardens were planted by moonlight to give the least stress to the plants and trees. Only organic compost has been used. An abundance of Frangipani, Bougainvillea, Cempaka, Gardenia and Hibiscus as well as various trees such as Palm, Mango and Coconut trees were planted for color, fragrance, and shade. Birds and butterflies are abundant. The Dragonflies love to dip in and out of the fishponds. The guests love to dip in and out of the swimming pool which is in the center of the gardens. From both the swimming pool and the pool deck, you can view the wide ocean horizon.

The restaurant is stylish, relaxed and informal. Here you may dine on fresh local food as you take in the spectacular views. The menu offers authentic, delicious Balinese cuisine and western foods including a tasty vegetarian selection. Local fisherman provide fresh fish and fresh chicken, eggs, vegetables, fruit and coffee.
They use only freshly ground spices and try wherever possible to serve organically-grown foods. They use only safe water for ice, washing salad vegetables and for cooking and donot use MSG. Their cocktail selection is a touch of paradise in itself - both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. All meals are prepared to the highest standards with down-to-earth prices.
Other Facilities & Services:
In the restaurant there is a small library as well as games (Scrabble, Monopoly, Cards, etc). There are also a couple of guitars and often a quiet singsong in the evening. In a far corner of the garden, underneath a flower-covered pergola there is a pool table, fun for experts and beginners alike. Life without the TV can be so much more fulfilling!
Guest Activities:
During the day you can laze in the pool, gazing out to the distant horizon. The occasional dolphin, flying fish or fishing boat disturbs the waters every now and then. Other activities that are available include diving, snorkeling, fishing, sailing, trekking and guided tours.
If you just want to stay home; you may relax by the pool or on your verandah, take a swim, sip a cocktail, fresh juice or a cold beer, have a massage, read a book.
